with quality & care.
It didn’t take long for people to take notice, and Paul realized his creation’s potential. In 1987, he founded String Swing and, with the help of his family and a machinist friend, began manufacturing parts and assembling hangers in his home. Musicians raved about the hanger’s secure deep cradle design, and as the business outgrew his basement, Paul sold his farm and moved to Ontario, Wisconsin to build a machine shop and pursue his new dream.
Today, String Swing builds the strongest, safest, and most accessible instrument displays on the market – trusted to hold over 10 million guitars worldwide. Our catalog has expanded to instruments of all kinds, from strings to woodwinds and percussion. Still proudly family-owned and American-made in our Midwest facility, we continue to refine our designs, provide excellent customer service, and uphold the highest standards of quality. From our humble beginnings to today, our goal remains the same: to build convenient, dependable, and beautifully crafted instrument displays that encourage musicians to pursue their passion.
Yes! All of our products are American made from start to finish, right here in the great state of Wisconsin.
The CC34 can hold 3 acoustic guitars, 6 electric guitars, or a combination of both.
Yes. in most cases. The only exception is if the guitar's base isn't wide enough to hit both of the pads on the bottom of the rack. The pads are 8 ½" apart, and your guitar must measure this width 3" above the very bottom so it doesn't rest on the floor.
The CC34 rack is 30 ½" tall, measured from the floor to the top rests. If your banjo fits within these dimensions, you should be able to comfortably rest your banjo on this stand.
Yes, the CC34 should be able to accommodate a double-neck guitar. That being said, you might have to move the bottom out a little so it leans back into the cradle more, since the center of gravity will be different than a single-neck guitar.
Our composite material will not eat into the nitro of your guitar like most foams and rubbers do. Fender, Gibson, and Martin all use our products in their showrooms and at trade shows on both their standard and high-nitro finished guitars. However, there are some things that are out of our control that prevent us from putting an unconditional guarantee that no marking will ever occur. Please read more in our Nitrocellulose Statement.
If you have more questions, give us a call at 1-888-455-6628 and ask for Travis. He'll gladly discuss any nitrocellulose-related questions in further depth.
